Jordan Crane is an influential comic artist and designer. Crane started drawing for his school paper and went on to establish his own press, Red Ink. He edited and designed the anthology NON and created screenprints and comics (self published).
Many of Crane’s comics deal with human emotions. Last Lonely Saturday (2000) explores those of an elderly gentleman and Col-Dee those of a kid. Next followed Keeping Two and The Clouds Above, a children’s story rich with fantasy about a boy and his cat.
After completing the mini-series Uptight (Fantagraphics/self-published), Crane lately has been working on the serial project Keeping Two - four issues have been self-published so far.
