Tim Enthoven is a wayward illustrator and artist. He followed the Man and Communication course at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. For his final work, he designed a semi-autobiographical visual novel -Binnenskamers - about an aspiring artist trapped in his ambition. Binnenskamers won the Renee Smeets award for best graduate work of the year.
Enthoven makes pen drawings, etchings and graphic novels in which different influences and aspects flow together into a visually strong and significant whole.
As an illustrator, he works for several magazines, newspapers and commercial clients, among whom New York Times Magazine, NRC Handelsblad, Design Indaba, Items en Vice. One of his commissions was nominated for a Dutch Design Award.
