Nora Krug grew up in Germany and now lives and works in New York. Her illustrations and visual narratives have been recognized by American Illustration, the New York Art Director’s Club and the New York Society of Illustrators, which awarded her a gold medal. Her illustrations have been published in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Vanity Fair, Playboy, Blab! and Le monde Diplomatique.
Krug’s animations have been featured at festivals such as the Sundance and Ars Electronica.
She's an associate professor in the Illustration Program at Parsons The New School for Design.
