Anke Feuchtenberger studied graphic design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin, and teaches since 1997 at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Hamburg, Germany. She lives in Hamburg with her son Leo and artist Stefano Ricci.
Her comics and illustrations have been published in Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Wochenpost, Junge Welt (Germany), Strapazin and Das Magazin (Switzerland), Lapin and Cheval Sans Tête (France), Nosotros somos los Muertos (Spain), On The Issues (USA), and Kunstaunus oy Jalava (Finland).
Her books include Mutterkuchen (1995), Somnambule (1998), Frau Trockenthal (1999), Der Palast (1999) and Das Haus (2001). She collaborated with poet Katrin de Vries for the trilogy about a little whore (Die Hure H, 1996 - Die kleine Dame, 1997 - Die Hure H zieht ihre Bahnen, 2003 - and Die Hure H wirft den Handschuh (2007). She has had solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Germany, Finland, and Greece. |
