Ulf K. was born in 1969 in Oberhausen, where he spent his childhood, his youth and part of his adulthood.

Around 1996/97 Ulf K. moved to Paris. But he has stayed there just for a very few months, because he missed his hometown so much.

Today he lives with his wife and son in Düsseldorf. In 2004 the "Max und Moritz"-Prize for the Best German-Speaking Comic Artist was awarded to Ulf K.
