PHILIP PAQUET
°1973, Antwerpen, Belgium

Philip Paquet is an illustrator, comics artist, painter, and musician - not necessarily in that order. "Music is like air to me," he says. "I need it to develop my skills and to stimulate my creativity; Jazz, old school hip hop, electronic music, rock, etc."

Paquet's debut Louis Armstrong was acclaimed by both the Belgian and the foreign press: "With his unique watercolor style, Paquet definitely captures the mood of the jazz age."

Paquet plays a mean bass in a rock band and also works as a freelance illustrator.
