Stefan J.H. van Dinther has studied Information Technology as well as Cinema and Theatre. This combined interest for visuals and technology shows in his entire career.
Since 1995, Van Dinther works parttime as an actionscript programmer. At the Utrecht School of the Arts, he teaches Sequential Art. He got known as a comic artist with the serial magazine Eiland (‘Island’, 1997-), which he established and fills together with multitalent Tobias Schalken. The chapters of CHRZ, first serialized in Eiland, were later on bundled in a book with the same title. On his own account, he created a number of short animations.
Van Dinther likes to cross borders and is currently experimenting with mixing animation and comic art. His progress can be followed on his blog.
